Privacy Policy

Applies to the mobile apps MarLoon, FroBox and Faden (iOS and Android) and to this website. Last updated: October 9, 2026. Deutsche Fassung: Datenschutzerklärung.

2. Summary

• The apps require no account or registration.
• The apps do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location (GPS).
• I operate no servers for the apps and do not store personal data about you.
• The apps show ads through Google AdMob, which involves sending data to Google (see section 3).

3. Data in the apps

3.1 Game progress and settings

Game progress, high scores and settings are stored only locally on your device and are not sent to me. They are deleted when you uninstall the app.

3.2 Advertising by Google AdMob

The apps use the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC to show ads. The SDK may collect and send the following data to Google:

• Your device's advertising ID (Android: Advertising ID; iOS: IDFA, if you allowed tracking)
• IP address and the approximate location derived from it (e.g. country or region)
• Device and software information (model, operating system and version, language, app version)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, ad performance)
• Crash and performance data

Purposes: serving and measuring ads, fraud and abuse prevention, funding the free apps and, if you consented, personalized advertising. Google processes some of this data as an independent controller. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and Google Privacy Policy.

Legal basis: your consent where legally required (e.g. in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), otherwise my legitimate interest in funding the apps.

3.3 Consent and withdrawal

Where required by law, the app asks for your consent to advertising and data use at startup. You can change or withdraw it at any time via the privacy settings in the app. On iOS you are also asked for permission to track you across apps; if you decline, the IDFA is not used. Without consent, only non-personalized ads are shown where possible.

3.4 Controlling your advertising ID

• Android: Settings > Google (or Privacy) > Ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization.
• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You can disallow tracking per app.

3.5 Permissions

The apps need internet access (to load ads). On Android, the advertising ID permission (AD_ID) is also used.

4. Children

The apps are not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you notice that a child has submitted data, please email me.

5. Retention

I do not store personal data from the apps myself. Retention of data processed by Google is governed by Google's policies.

6. Sharing, security and international transfers

Data goes only to Google (AdMob) and, for the website, Cloudflare (see section 8). I do not sell data. Both providers may process data outside Switzerland and the EEA (including the USA) based on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Data sent to Google is transmitted in encrypted form.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and to withdraw consent. Since I store no personal data about you, requests about advertising data are usually directed to Google (Google Account: Data & privacy). For anything else email sou.azdu@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local data protection authority.

8. Website

This website contains no ads, cookies, tracking or analytics. No external fonts or scripts are loaded.

It is delivered via Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which processes technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, time, requested page, browser type) to serve the site and protect it from abuse, based on my legitimate interest in secure operation. More: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. If you email me, I use your details only to handle your request.

Web versions of the games: Games under /spiele/ can be played directly in the browser. They show no ads and send no game data to me or third parties. Progress and settings are stored locally in your browser (Local Storage / IndexedDB) and can be deleted via your browser settings.

I may update this policy, e.g. when the apps change. The version published here applies; the date above shows when it was last updated.
